Latest adventure- Los Angeles!
A friend was driving to L.A. for a family event, and few of us tagged along. We didn’t have much time in the city, but we did get to the waterfront!
Rancho Palos Verdes
Two weeks later, I returned to visit my friend Isaac. At the top of my list was the Warner Bros tour! Our guide drove us around the lot in a little trolley. It was much bigger than I expected, and we got to see many different sets, the prop warehouse, the shop, and the sitcom studio.
Walking around “Midwest Town”. They filmed The Music Man here!
Harry Potter Exhibit in the museum. Hermione is tall!
The Friends set. Looks much smaller in real life.
Of course Isaac and I had to pose on the famous couch. In case you didn’t know, I don’t watch a lot of TV, but I’ve seen pretty much every episode of Friends.
They had an entire garage full of Batmobiles!
After Warner Bros, Isaac and I went to Griffith Observatory. It was full of picnicking schoolchildren, sunbathers, and tourists. Great view of the Hollywood sign! Next time I’m in town I’ll finally get a chance to climb up to the top.
The observatory also had a great view of the city.
The observatory and surrounding trails were pretty cool, and Isaac and I got to see an awesome planetarium show.
Later that night, some more friends from RVA arrived! We had a chill couple of days.
Santa Monica Beach
And then it was time to head back to work…
